Here we go - building off the prior post Shoulder Swirls we raise the stakes…
Wrist Traction
This is a personal therapeutic I use to stop the build-up of pressure in my wrist joints. It’s quick, simple and feels great. (Not only has it kept me charging hard on my mountain bike, it helps me recover quickly from handstands).
Whether you are a seasoned practitioner exploring arm balances, or a relative newbie getting used to downward dog, the loads in our wrist joints are impressive. Considering how much time we spend typing, along with our favourite sports/hobbies, it’s easy to overuse the wrists and get them inflamed. Not good!
Please give it a shot, and let me know what you think! Also, if you have friends who are dealing with wrist issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, please share this video: it could provide them with some much needed relief.
Stay healthy,
jeff
