I am a family man, business owner and passionate Canmorite. Whether I’m out on the trails, or teaching yoga, I am always struck by how lucky I am to live here.
My vision of Canmore is one of kindness, diversity and inclusivity. Where a thriving middle class can set down roots and make this place even better.
The previous four years have been pivotal for Canmore. Serious issues such as livability, emergency preparedness and the social fabric of our community were at a tipping point. I’ve worked hard, and I’m particularly proud of:

- Revamping Canmore Community Housing. The Ptarmigan Pointe project is nearly finished, and we just started 100 Palliser Lane: a 144 unit rental building.
- Emergency response: Implementing the Voyent Alert App.
- Bringing in the Livability Tax to help accelerate housing projects for locals.
- Guiding the Connect Downtown plan to shape a better downtown for future generations
- Paving the West Bow River Pathway for year round commuting.
Yes, we are in a better place – but we have more to do. Challenging times call for focused, intelligent leadership that is willing to take risks to execute a bold vision. With one term completed, I have a heightened understanding of Canmore’s wicked problems – and I am keen to leverage my experience and knowledge to serve you.
Let’s go!
Jeff
