My Favourite Things

One of my favourite things running the Yoga Lounge is curating awesome workshop material. Coming up this Sat Nov 28th, I’m excited to host my friend Marty Hansen!

Marty has trained/coached athletes up to the Olympic level, and along the way, has created material to hone intuition. Have you ever felt that state of flow where time slows down, and you know what to do? The thinking mind disappears, and instinct takes over? This workshop will help you understand this state, and harness it for your own potential.

The applications are endless – from yoga practice, extreme outdoor pursuits, to social gatherings. Check out the short interview I did with Marty, to get some insight on where he’s coming from. I’m excited! I’ll be there!

“Oh my…” were the words Hilary gasped, as she glanced at her laptop. Breakfast is a busy time in our house and we were rushing to get the kids to the pool. Something in the back of my mind registered Hil’s next words, “…boy on beach.”, and I knew that eventually I would find out more later today.

Hours later, I check a link from a dear student’s FB feed and as I click, I instantly know that this is what Hil was talking about.

Wayne Dyer Transitions

A tribute to a dear mentor:

I got a message from a dear friend informing me that Wayne Dyer passed away last night.

Part of me is still in dismay over this, as I attended his writing workshop in Maui just a few short months ago. It was my first time seeing Wayne Dyer in person. He was vibrant, funny, opinionated and full of purpose. If there was a hint that his health was in decline, it certainly eluded me – if anything, he was ever-continuing on his path of expansion…
